There’s Thanksgiving, and then there’s gratitude!

Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday and I hate to see it ruined by commercialism.

As we here in America, the West, scurry to get to Grandma’s with just the right side dish, to gobble it all down in twenty minutes?  Do we even say grace?  As some have become less interested in the family gathering and more focused on getting in line to shop on Thanksgiving Day or the day after (I signed the national petition to Thank those stores who remain closed on Thanksgiving Day to honor their employees…….  spend a few minutes, just a few minutes appreciating the fact we have life, liberty and freedom to at least pursue happiness.
